Terms made to be read.

Using NextDayReel
These terms apply when you apply for, set up, manage, visit, or upload to a NextDayReel gallery. If you do not agree, do not use the service or upload media. The host is the person or team responsible for a wedding gallery. A guest is anyone using a gallery link or QR code.
Host responsibilities
A host must have authority to create the gallery, invite co-hosts, and share QR links for the wedding. Hosts choose event visibility and moderation settings. They must share secret event links and PINs carefully, respond to reasonable takedown requests, and export the gallery before the hosting window ends.
Guest uploads
Only upload photos or videos you are allowed to share. Do not upload unlawful, threatening, harassing, sexually exploitative, invasive, malicious, or infringing material. Do not use the service to impersonate someone, distribute malware, probe security, or interfere with another wedding.
You keep ownership of your media. By uploading, you give NextDayReel permission to store, process, resize, display, export, and deliver it to run the gallery and to make any reel ordered for that wedding. You give the host and their co-hosts a lasting, non-exclusive permission to moderate, download, keep, and share what you upload, including inside the reels made for their wedding. If the host has agreed to let NextDayReel share their reels on our own channels, that sharing may include clips you uploaded. If you do not want that, do not upload, or ask the host or us to remove an item.
You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or have a parent or guardian upload on your behalf.
QR access and private events
Anyone with a shared gallery link may be able to upload or view approved media. A shared QR is not identity verification. Private events use a separate secret link and may use a PIN, but the host is still responsible for sharing those credentials with the intended people.
Moderation and removal
Hosts, approved co-hosts, and NextDayReel may approve, hide, or remove uploads to operate the gallery, respond to a complaint, protect people, or enforce these terms. We may suspend a link or account when continued access creates a safety, legal, or security risk.
Hosting, export, and deletion
Gallery hosting lasts for the period included with the wedding package, which is 12 months unless the booking says otherwise. Guest upload links stay open for 30 days after the last event. We will send export reminders before scheduled deletion, along with a paid hosting extension offer. Hosts are responsible for downloading and checking their export. Deleted media may remain briefly in limited backups while those systems cycle.
Bookings, payment, and changes
Bookings are paid in full up front, on one invoice with one payer. A wedding date can be moved once at no charge with at least 30 days notice, subject to our availability on the new dates. If a booking is cancelled outright, we refund what has not been used: gallery fees are refundable while nothing has been uploaded, and reel fees are refundable while the reel has not been made. Shipped signage materials may be deducted from a refund.
Reels
A Next Day Reel is a 45 to 60 second edit delivered the day after the event’s calendar night; a reel is late if it has not been delivered by the end of that next day. Every reel is cut from footage you and your guests shoot and upload; we do not film, and we do not control how your guests film. Footage uploaded after the edit begins the next morning is not included in that reel and stays in the gallery; the cutoff for each reel is set on your booking form. Shaky, dark, or very short clips limit what any edit can do, so the quality of the submitted footage sets the ceiling for the reel. A reel is not eligible for a refund, a free re-edit, or any other remedy because the footage provided was poor. Song choice, must-include moments, and anyone who should not be featured are collected before the event, or we decide. Each reel includes one round of minor revisions after delivery, such as a clip swap or a spelling fix. A song change or a re-edit changes the scope of the work and is delivered as a new reel at full price. If a reel is delivered late, we add a reel at no charge; that extra reel is the only remedy for lateness. Not liking a reel is handled inside the included revision round and is not grounds for a refund.
Service availability
We work to keep uploads reliable and to preserve originals, but internet, venue Wi-Fi, devices, browsers, and third-party services can fail. We may pause the service for maintenance, security, or legal reasons. Any paid deliverables, timing, refunds, or custom work are also governed by the written booking or invoice agreed with the host.
What we are responsible for
The service is provided as it is. We do not promise that every guest will upload, that every upload will arrive, that venue Wi-Fi will work, or that the service will never be interrupted. Guests keep their originals on their own phones; hosts are responsible for exporting the gallery while it is open.
To the fullest extent the law allows, NextDayReel’s total responsibility for any claim connected to the service or a booking is limited to the amount the host paid us for that wedding. We are not responsible for indirect losses, lost memories or media, lost profits, or emotional distress arising from a failed upload, a missing clip, a late reel, or an outage. Nothing here limits responsibility that cannot be limited under the laws of British Columbia.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes are handled in the courts of British Columbia, unless consumer protection law where you live gives you other rights. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
